Hey there people, Naaackers here. Just an fyi that I will be leaving Strimwiki in the dust. Or, changing it enough to where it wont be Strimwiki anymore. I haven’t streamed in years and don’t plan on returning. Being outside of the space means I’m not an authority on this subject matter any longer. I’m not following trends, hardware, software, etc. so I don’t find it appropriate that I pose myself as a reputable authority. I’m still VERY much involved with technology and reviewing gear, but it’s no longer a focus.
✅ Strimwiki was been renamed to “NackLibrary” for now. ✅ The site as a whole is not being deleted.
✅ Subject matter along the lines of hardware, software, audio, video, 3D printing, content creator tips, and projects will still be actively updated here.
❌ Do not expect any Twitch, Kick, Tiktok, or any live-streaming focused platforms to be a focus here. ❌ I am cancelling the Super.so subscription service that turns this Notion page into a prettier, not so Notion website. The Strimwiki domain will perish, but the NackLibrary Notion page will live on. ❌ Some links tied to strimwiki.com will die.
Strimwiki started as a public Google doc back in 2018 or 2019. Been so long I can barely remember. I’ve been maintaining it a long time, and while the site gets plenty of traffic, I don’t have the time or bandwidth to keep up with it any longer. I will still be using the NackLibrary as a landing page for sharing the following resources:
✅ Awesome tech for content creators
✅ Links to helpful guides, tutorials, and reviews
✅ Archiving of tech tips and guides
✅ Links to hardware and software I find
Thank you to anyone who has supported me over the years with this project. I don’t have any plan to stop the creation of knowledge bases and creating educational content for people in need. I just know it isn’t live streaming focused anymore.
Much love, Naaackers (July 17, 2024)
