**Over the years, there has many posts and tweets online from users saying they were getting DMCA takedowns when using NCS on stream. Here in Q4 2022, I’m having trouble locating those posts and tweets. Please take this as anecdotal evidence, and not a claim that NCS does not properly acquire the correct licensing for their music. There are many reasons why you can still get a DMCA takedown when using a service like NCS, PretzelRocks, etc.

• Fraudulent claims from nefarious users
• Accidental claims
• License owned attempting to claim, even when they have already signed over the rights
• The license that was obtained was not done so in perpetuity, and therefore the license was pulled but a track is still in the library.
